We love collaborating with Surfrider Foundation, and were flattered by this special note...
All The Good Things
At Surf Maroc, we believe in doing good and being good. And that’s what we do every day to help protect and develop our environment and community. We are making strides to make all of our locations sustainable, to support our local community, and to encourage others to do good and be good too.
Do Good, Be Good
Actions speak louder than words. And when it comes to helping the environment and community, it’s the small actions that make a big difference. From funding beach cleans and eliminating plastics to supporting local charities and community projects, it’s these small things Surf Maroc do that make a great impact.
Coming to Surf Maroc, you become part of our community. And we love when our guests get involved with All The Good Things we do. That can be as simple as using our Beach Clean Up Kits, coming to our charity Yoga classes, or using our filtered fountains. Every good deed means together we can spread the good word and make a difference.

Causes We Support
Surf Maroc is proud to support a number of local charities and associations. We ensure that any money we raise, any second hand equipment we want to donate, or any gifts-in-kind given by guests are directly sent to the right place. Surf Maroc is proud to be ongoing supporters of two causes working in collaboration – Idiots for Good and Amsmoon.
Idiots for Good
Founded by one of our own, Sofiane, and his friends, Idiots for Good are a group of people determined to make a difference to people under the poverty line in our community. From collecting blankets to rebuilding houses, they make a difference to lives every day. See more about their work here.
A co-working space created to provide a place for young adults in Aourir to learn and develop skills, as well as grow in independence to reduce young crime in the area. Amsmoon supports Idiots for Good by providing them space and support to grow. See more about them here.
You can support these causes by bringing any unwanted clothes, toiletries and kitchenware on holiday with you. Or you can donate directly to the cause by contacting us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Moroccan Animal Aid is a local animal charity run by a group of volunteers who work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in and around Taghazout. Donations given to the charity goes towards providing emergency help, vaccinations, neutering, general welfare and fostering/adoption. It’s an amazing charity that literally works on our doorstep, and has helped many of the animals we see and love every day.

The ocean is our home, and Surf Maroc is extremely passionate about protecting it. We’re delighted to be supporting Surfrider Foundation Morocco, which works tirelessly to protect our ocean. Their work is to protect, enhance and sustainably manage our beautiful coastline, waves and its users. Working with the wider Surfrider Foundation, they actively campaign, clean, develop new initiative and educate locals to achieve their goals.
Each month we are delighted to be working with Surfrider Foundation Morocco with our monthly Beach Clean events.

In Agadir, we have a local Government run orphanage that does wonderful work to look after orphan children. Although this special place doesn’t have a charity to donate to, we regularly visit and donate nappies, formula, clothes and toys to the children to help this little place out. Any money raised in aid of the Agadir Children’s Orphanage will go towards any items they need to help support every child they’re caring for.

This Moroccan Association, founded by a previously homeless person, works to combat hunger on the streets of Morocco. Operating nationwide including our local city, Agadir, this group of volunteers works with local restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries to collect any food wastage. The volunteers walk, cycle and use their homes to distrbute food daily to those who need to most, to ensure no one is left hungy, as well as helping food wastage and the environment.
