As we start entering September and feel the winter vibes coming, we’ve got a little reminiscent about the summer months just gone. So we’re looking back over best bits of the Surf Maroc summer and checking out what’s to come!
Fitness Week
The Surf Maroc summer was kicked off with an amazing Fitness Week with Broga founder Matt Miller. We had an amazing week sunrise Broga, daytime surfing, evening yoga and lots of fun in between!

Morocco is blessed with waves all year around. In the summer, the swell tends to be mellow and long, perfect for longboarding as some of our longboard ladies showed us at Imsouane most weekends!

However, we were given a nice surprise shortboard swell, giving surfers like Surf Maroc’s Surf Guide, Yassine (Snoopy), some fun rides and barrels!

Getting Immersed
In August, we welcomed new yoga teacher Haley to our Surf Maroc yogi team and hosted a couple of special Yoga Surf Immersion weeks. We had the pleasure of treating our Immersion guests to extra-long master classes, a relaxing yoga Nidra and a treaty Yin and Tonic class. We loved having these weeks so much, so we might just have a few more this winter…

Summer Days and Nights
We are so lucky to have so many awesome guests staying with us, and we got to spend some lovely summer evenings with them catching up and chatting about days on the waves, relaxing and exploring Taghazout. And as a special treat, we received a lovely video by James from Blam, who captured summer at Surf Maroc with this beautiful video!

As we wave goodbye to the summer, we’re also excited to welcome the rest of the year! With the lovely winter sun, bigger swells on the horizon and stunning sunsets for evening drinks or yoga…we’re pretty excited. And not forgetting out 15 Year Anniversary celebrations in November – watch this space people! Maybe the best is yet to come for 2018?
