We love Thursday nights at Amouage – our favourite thing is a good BBQ and getting everyone together to dance into the night. So much so, we’ve now made Tuesday night at Taghazout Villa Amouage’s cool little sister. Every Tuesday all our guests are invited to our beach chic Taghazout Villa for a chic Beach Night. And it’s quickly becoming our favourite evening of the week (sorry Amouage).

Perfectly timed after afternoon yoga, the evening starts with drinks to sip watching the stunning sunset over the ocean. The firepit is lit, or on special nights with the right tide, a bonfire on the beach by our back gate. Just grab a guitar! While the sun sinks behind the horizon, our stomachs start to growl after a day of surfing and yoga. Plus the inviting smell of local fresh fish cooking on the BBQ doesn’t help! Just on cue, the delicious dips (…and a bit more wine) are served as the DJ starts up the music.

And we don’t wait long for our BBQ meal. Peeling ourselves away from the cosy fire we sit all together and enjoy an amazing traditional Moroccan fish BBQ. All served with a variety of salads and sides, so no one can resist seconds! But there’s always room in the dessert stomach for a treat to finish off dinner. As the music is turned up, we move away from the dining table and let the drinks keep flowing for more bonfire chats, dancing and amazing vibes under the Moroccan stars. When you dream up summer surf holidays, this image pretty much comes to most people’s mind for post-surf evenings. And we just love it.
