At Surf Maroc we’re spoiled with amazing women that come to all of our locations every day. So what better way to celebrate that than on International Women’s Day!
Since 1914, on 8th March, the world celebrates the great achievements of women around the globe. In history, on this day, women have demonstrated their rights and power, including the suffragettes in London (1914), textile workers in Russia marking the start of the Russian Revolution (1917) and Spanish women the night before the Spanish Civil War (1936). There’s no doubt this day is truly significant for women around the world.
Today at Surf Maroc, we’re celebrating by giving all of our female guests a white rose with a special handwritten quote to hopefully bring a little joy and empowerment! We’re thrilled to see more and more female surfers from across the globe visiting us every year, especially during our fun Girls Surf Maroc weeks! And not forgetting our female staff who help to make Surf Maroc so special – our hosts, cleaners, waitresses, managers, yogis, instructors and more who together make sure our guests have an unforgettable holiday.
